Sales and support
Send Zendesk agents a clearer support request
Customers want help, not another explanation of the same problem. Bob answers routine questions from approved information and prepares a useful Zendesk handoff when an agent needs to take over.
Bob answers the routine question and opens or updates the Zendesk ticket with the context the agent needs.
Start the ticket with the conversation already understood
A strong support handoff includes the issue, the relevant account or order reference, what has already been tried, and what the customer expects next. Bob can gather that context before creating or updating a supported Zendesk record. Your agents keep their familiar workspace while receiving a more complete starting point.
Workflows
Collect the missing details
Ask focused questions about the problem and relevant references so staff do not have to restart intake.
Use authorized ticket context
Look up the correct ticket and share only the status or information appropriate for the requester.
Prepare an actionable escalation
Use enabled ticket actions to add the summary, category, and next step to the appropriate support workflow.
Example workflow
Example workflow
A customer returns to ask about an unresolved delivery problem. After the required identity checks, Bob finds the permitted ticket context, captures the new information, and prepares an update for the support team. The customer does not need to retell the entire story.
Illustrative example, not a live execution log.
Connection and setup
Connect Zendesk, map supported ticket fields and groups, and define what Bob may answer, update, or escalate.
How Bob turns a conversation into a useful next step
Bob starts with the customer's request and the business information you approve. When the workflow needs a current record, Bob retrieves it from the connected service. When the next step changes a record or sends a message, Bob follows the permissions and approval steps you configure. The customer gets a useful next response, and your team gets a clear handoff when a person needs to take over.
Questions
Can Bob replace our Zendesk help center?
Your help center remains an approved source and customer destination. Bob can make its useful content easier to find during a conversation.
Can Bob close a ticket automatically?
Only if the enabled workflow and your resolution rules permit it. A drafted answer or attempted handoff is not evidence that the customer’s issue is resolved.
Who decides what Bob can change or send?
You choose the records Bob reads and the actions he takes. A reply, a record update, or an outbound message follows the approval step you set for that workflow. See the pricing page for plans. This page does not list prices.
