Give Shopify shoppers help that understands the store
Shoppers need answers while they are deciding and reassurance after they order. Office 168/52 can connect Bob’s conversations to approved store information and enabled Shopify tools, helping customers get the right context without waiting for someone to open the admin.
Bob answers product questions from the catalog and order questions from the Shopify order the shopper is allowed to see.
Make product discovery and order support work together
Before a purchase, Bob can explain approved product details and policies. After the purchase, an authorized order workflow handles with status questions and requests that need staff attention. The value is continuity: the customer gets a useful next step, and your team receives the details needed to act.
Workflows
Clarify product information
Consult permitted catalog data and approved guidance to answer questions about options, intended use, and store policies.
Look up the right order
Retrieve enabled order or fulfillment information after the workflow establishes that the requester may receive it.
Prepare a service request
Capture a return, cancellation, or address-change request and route it through the actions and review process your store supports.
Example workflow
Example workflow
A shopper wants to know whether a product comes in another size and later asks when the order will ship. Bob can use separate catalog and authorized order workflows to handle those questions, escalating any request that requires a store decision.

Connection and setup
Connect the Shopify store, review requested scopes, choose approved product sources, and enable the order-support actions your team wants Bob to use.
How Bob turns a conversation into a useful next step
Bob starts with the customer's request and the business information you approve. When the workflow needs a current record, Bob retrieves it from the connected service. When the next step changes a record or sends a message, Bob follows the permissions and approval steps you configure. The customer gets a useful next response, and your team gets a clear handoff when a person needs to take over.
Questions
Can Bob issue refunds?
Only when a supported refund action is explicitly enabled and the required approval is satisfied. The default marketing story is helpful support and prepared requests.
Does product availability mean delivery is guaranteed?
No. Inventory, fulfillment status, and carrier delivery are separate facts. Bob should use the relevant returned data and avoid inventing an arrival date.
Who decides what Bob can change or send?
You choose the records Bob reads and the actions he takes. A reply, a record update, or an outbound message follows the approval step you set for that workflow. See the pricing page for plans. This page does not list prices.
